A group of five Auburn University alumni who were tired of the hassles and headaches associated with tax preparation and who wanted to improve access and efficiency for underserved communities have teamed together to create the software development company SmartWiz.
The Auburn University Real Estate Foundation (AUREF) and the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment (CFWE) has accepted a gift of 415 acres of Crooked Oaks Farm, legendary Auburn football coach Pat Dye’s homestead. Located in Notasulga, the farm property includes Dye’s main house, a guest cabin, lodge, pavilion, gazebo, two barns and a nursery office.
Dave Ketchen is at the top of his game, having recently been elected a Fellow of the Academy of Management (AOM), the pre-eminent professional association for management and organization scholars, which selects only 1% of its members for this honor. Other honorees for 2023 include professors at Harvard, Illinois, Northwestern, Stanford and Wharton.
