The Harbert College of Business at Auburn University now ranks among the top 30 public schools in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of 2021 Best Business Schools.

Rankings are based on a survey of Full-Time MBA programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International, or AACSB. This is the third consecutive year Harbert has improved its ranking, jumping 13 spots this year to No. 56 overall among public and private schools.

“The Harbert College of Business is keenly focused on delivering quality graduate programs that prepare our students to step into leadership roles at corporations of their choosing and influence sound decision-making,” said Associate Dean of Graduate and International Programs Stan Harris.

Programs are scored on numerous criteria, including MBA graduates’ starting salaries, employment rates, and recruiters’ assessments. Harbert’s survey scores improved this year in all three of these key categories.

“Our Full-Time MBA draws talented students from across the country due to its robust curriculum, talented and engaged faculty, and outstanding return on investment,” said Executive Director of Full-Time and Online MBA Programs Jim Parrish. “When you consider that we provide students a firm foundation in advanced business theory and practical training in leadership and career development, the value of our program becomes obvious.”
