Auburn’s TigerFit fitness evaluation free spring semester to campus and community
The TigerFit health and physical fitness assessment, sponsored by the School of Kinesiology, is free until the end of spring semester. Auburn faculty and staff and members of the community have the opportunity to check current fitness levels or get started on an exercise program.
The TigerFit assessment is a comprehensive fitness evaluation that includes a cardiovascular disease risk assessment, cholesterol and blood glucose screening, assessments of pulmonary function, body composition by dual X-ray absorptiometry which includes your bone density, a treadmill test with ECG, muscular endurance, flexibility, balance and a musculoskeletal evaluation. After the tests are completed, each client receives a report explaining their results as well as an individualized exercise program.
Appointments for the assessment are available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting at 7:30 a.m. The testing takes about one hour and 20 minutes. For more information or to make an appointment, contact the TigerFit Program at email@example.com or call 334-844-1482.
