Veterans Alumni Gala Nov. 4 with pilot and author Michael Durant as guest

The Auburn Student Veterans Association will host a Veterans Alumni Gala on Friday, Nov. 4, at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center, as part of Auburn University's Veterans Alumni Weekend. Retired Chief Warrant Officer 4 Michael Durant, pilot and bestselling author who inspired the movie, "Black Hawk Down," will be a special guest.
The ticketed event is open to members of the public ages 21 and older, with reservations open through Friday, Sept. 30. A cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. and dinner and programming at 7 p.m. Dress is black tie invited, military uniform or formal attire.
Net proceeds for the Veterans Alumni Gala go to the Auburn Student Veterans Association Award Fund for veterans attending Auburn University.
Make checks payable to the "AU Student Veterans Association" and mail to 217 Foy Hall, Auburn, AL 36849. Credit Card payments are accepted and can be made at 217 Foy Hall.
