Auburn rolled out its fall television spot during Saturday’s football game with the message that an education on the Plains could help lead to success and exciting careers.

The television spot features several notable Auburn alumni who are linked through the tradition of rolling Toomer’s Corner to celebrate victories. The rolling tradition continues this fall after it was temporarily halted in 2013.

Highlighted alumni are best-selling author Tim Dorsey, former WNBA star Ruthie Bolton, Twitter executive Chris Moody, PGA Tour professional and philanthropist Jason Dufner, NFL executive Michelle McKenna-Doyle, business executive and former NFL and MLB star Bo Jackson and former astronaut Jim Voss.

Actor, author and alumnus Thom Gossom narrates with sections from the Auburn Creed. The writer and director is alumnus Ed Miller.

"In just thirty seconds, the story of Auburn’s impact is told through high-achieving alumni who hold a strong connection to their alma mater," said Brian Keeter, Auburn director of public affairs.

Throughout the fall, Auburn will release interviews with featured alumni who talk about the university's role in their personal and professional achievements.

The spot will air during each live television broadcast of an Auburn football game, and fans watching in Jordan Hare Stadium will see it on the video board. It can also be seen online at www.auburn.edu/commercial along with information about the rolling tradition and the highlighted alums.
