Students invited to take part in 'Critical Conversations' with internationally recognized speakers

Beginning fall 2017, the Office of the Provost and the Office of Inclusion and Diversity will welcome distinguished scholars, journalists, and thought leaders to campus as part of the “Critical Conversations” lecture series to share diverse perspectives and ideologies on topics such as inclusion, intellectual diversity, and free speech in higher education. The “Critical Conversations” series kicks off Sept. 1 with Cornel West and Robert George, internationally recognized Ivy League professors, at 4 p.m. in the Student Center ballroom. Pogo the ‘super pony’ overcomes traumatic amputation, begins a healing mission

Pogo is a tiny pony—a "miniature" horse to be exact—with a very big will to live and apparently, a large destiny to fulfill.

He was found by a Birmingham-based equine rescue organization this past June and brought to the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine for treatment following traumatic amputation of the left hind limb. Read more about Pogo
