Day Job:
I get to put my 1998 Auburn journalism degree to good use by helping the OCM team write and edit articles about Auburn, with an emphasis on the College of Liberal Arts, College of Education, College of Sciences and Mathematics and the College of Architecture, Design and Construction. I also serve as the liaison for the Gogue Performing Arts Center, the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, Telfair B. Peet Theatre and the Office of Inclusion and Diversity. I also am tasked with pitching Auburn’s great stories to major national media outlets in an effort to tell our story to the world.
Favorite Auburn Experience:
It has to be watching the Tigers defeat Oregon in the BCS National Championship Game in Arizona in January 2011. It’s something I never thought I’d see firsthand, and the reality of it all definitely took a while to sink in. Standing next to Bo Jackson on the sidelines during a game while I was a student assistant working in the Athletics Media Relations Department and watching the “Kick Six” on TV also rank high on my list.
Interests:
As a third-generation graduate, I am a lover of all things Auburn. I also am a sports and movie fanatic who loves reading, traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time with family.
