Multimedia Specialist

Day Job:

I am responsible for composing and distributing the e-newsletters that allow students, faculty and staff to stay up to date on current Auburn events and news. I also support the social media platforms by strategizing, creating and executing posts, and serve as the office’s liaison to Student Affairs and Outreach.

I love having the opportunity to interact with and inform the Auburn Family on multiple platforms!

Favorite Auburn Experience:

My favorite Auburn experience was the time I spent interning with the Auburn legend and former head football coach for the Tigers, Pat Dye. I attended Auburn, as well as both of my older brothers, parents and grandfathers, so Pat Dye was a name I had always been very familiar with.

I got to manage his social media accounts, attend sporting events with him and enjoy hearing all of his timeless football stories. Spending time on his beautiful hunting reserve and wedding venue in Notasulga was always so much fun. I gained valuable experience and interactions with the Auburn Family and will never forget my time spent there!

Also, my office is in Samford Hall, so getting to walk into an Auburn landmark for work every day is definitely on the top of my list!

Interests:

Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling internationally, hanging out with friends and binge-watching the Great British Baking Show or Downton Abbey.

I call myself an amateur coffee connoisseur and am a believer that there is very little that a good cup of coffee can’t fix. While drinking my coffee, I can be found listening to Ben Rector, NEEDTOBREATHE or anything classical.

I also enjoy spending time with my English Springer Spaniel Maggie, who was named after Magnolia St. in downtown Auburn!
