Auburn softball coaches Clint and Corey Myers will continue the This is Auburn Speaker Series Friday, Sept. 9, at 3 p.m. in the Goodwin Room of the Auburn Alumni Center.

The father-son coaching duo will present "Taking Softball to Unprecedented Heights," giving the Auburn Family a glimpse into the life of the head and associate head coaches of the softball program.

The coaches will show videos on how the Auburn softball program has developed and how the coaches and players practice. Both coaches will talk about how they have built the program on a foundation of winning.

Head coach Clint Myers has guided the Tigers to back-to-back Women's College World Series appearances in the past two campaigns, when the previously best finish came with a showing at a regional final in 2006.

The younger Myers, who has primarily worked with the pitching staff, guided the Tigers to posting their best totals in the circles in years.

The This is Auburn Speaker Series is held on Fridays before home football games for fans wanting to learn more about Auburn people, history, sports, programs and research.
