Participate with your department in College Colors Day contest

College Colors Day – the annual holiday that celebrates collegiate fandom – returns on Friday, Sept. 1, ahead of the start of the college football season and Auburn’s “Kickoff on the Plains” when the Tigers host UMass at Jordan-Hare. In celebration of the 19th annual College Colors Day, Auburn encourages Tiger fans from coast-to-coast to don their favorite Auburn apparel on a single day to show how the Auburn Family can unite as one. The Auburn Family consists of students, staff, alumni, fans and the list goes on.

Specific to campus and our fellow Auburn employees, Auburn’s Office of Trademark Management & Licensing is asking campus departments to participate in College Colors Day and is offering a dessert social to the department with the overall best participation throughout the week leading up to College Colors Day and on College Colors Day. An anonymous panel of judges will select the winning department based on level of participation including the number of social media posts from departmental and personal accounts, creativity in displaying their Auburn colors, etc. Make sure to wow your internal and external followers with your Auburn spirit.
