Cary Center, United Way of Central Alabama providing training for Birmingham-area nonprofits

The Auburn University College of Human Sciences’ Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is partnering with the United Way of Central Alabama to present a day of training for nonprofits in the Birmingham area. The Cary Center Nonprofit Training Series program will take place on Aug. 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST (lunch is provided) at the Protective Life Corporation Building (2801 U.S. Highway 280 S, Birmingham) and will include sessions on recruiting and retaining nonprofit staff, nonprofit accounting basics and grant writing.
