Auburn's Fuller recognized by national HR organization

Leanne Fuller, Associate Athletic Director, Human Resources for Auburn Athletics, was recently honored for her work in human resources and higher education.

The College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) awarded Fuller its 2023 Distinguished Service Award for outstanding leadership of CUPA-HR and higher education HR.

Before joining Auburn Athletics last month, Fuller served as a director with University Human Resources. She has held many CUPA-HR leadership positions on the local, state, and national levels.

“Leanne is a leader that inspires others to reach beyond their best through high expectations, appropriate support and encouragement,” said Chris McClendon, Director of Human Resources at Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Auburn University. “She is deeply committed to the association and is an advocate of the higher education human resources profession.”

CUPA-HR is also making a $4,000 contribution to the Chambers County Community Health and Wellness Center on Fuller’s behalf.

Auburn University Outreach stated that it deeply appreciates the donation.

“These funds will increase access to healthcare for Chambers County community members, ultimately improving the quality of life throughout the county.”
