University hosts southeastern agriculture commissioners

Agriculture commissioners representing 16 states and Puerto Rico toured the Auburn campus June 5 as part of the Southern Association of State Departments of Agriculture (SASDA) annual conference. The group visited the Equestrian Center, the Tony and Libba Rane Culinary Science Center and athletics venues, and finished with dinner with President Christopher B. Roberts at the President’s Home. Alabama Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries Rick Pate is the current SASDA president and a 1978 graduate of Auburn’s College of Agriculture.
