Summer camp safety training to be held May 25-26

Auburn Youth Programs and the Youth Protection Program are partnering to offer on-campus safety training for directors, counselors and staff working for university-sponsored summer camps and programs.
First aid and CPR training takes place Thursday, May 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Summer camp training sessions take place Friday, May 26, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Topics include Campus Security Authority responsibilities, emergency preparedness, youth protection and reporting incidents.
Trainings are offered free of charge and take place in Mell 2510. Registration is required by May 18; seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Auburn Youth Programs, offered through the Office of Professional and Continuing Education, is an extension of University Outreach. The Youth Protection Program is housed in the Office of Audit, Compliance & Privacy.
