Office of Public Service accepting applications for AmeriCorps VISTA positions

The Office of Public Service, or OPS, in University Outreach is seeking undergraduate, graduate, post-doc students and surrounding community members who are interested in becoming an AmeriCorps VISTA member in the areas of rural health, K-12, outreach communications and food security.

AmeriCorps VISTA members have a unique opportunity to support an organization to make sustainable change in the area. Upon completion of the program, AmeriCorps VISTA offers an end of service award for education expenses or a cash stipend for personal expenses. OPS currently has one-year appointments and nine-week summer appointments available.
