Visual artist, retired Auburn art professor Zdenko Krtić to present his new paintings at Troy University's International Arts Center

A new exhibit at Troy University’s International Arts Center features the paintings, installations, and mixed media drawings of Croatian American artist Zdenko Krtić. A reception honoring the artist and the exhibit, “afterglow,” was held from on May 4. The exhibition will be on display until Aug. 27 in the IAC Main Gallery. At the artist reception a collaborative installation piece by Professor Krtić and Troy University students from the Department of Art and Design will also be revealed.

After teaching painting and drawing studio classes at Auburn's Department of Art and Art History for twenty-seven years, Krtić retired in 2018. He maintains his art studio in Auburn, where he still occasionally teaches studio art at College of Architecture, Design and Construction.
