Auburn wins annual SEC Food Fight third year in a row

The third annual SEC Food Fight concluded last week, and Auburn University took first place for the third year in a row. 

The SEC Food Fight is a competition of university food pantries collecting donations from students and community members to fight food insecurity. This year's competing universities were Texas A&M University, University of Alabama, University of Georgia, University of Kentucky, University of Mississippi, University of Missouri, University of South Carolina, University of Tennessee and University of Texas at Austin.

With the help of Beat Bama Food Drive, a student-led annual food drive, and the Auburn Family, Auburn raised more than $70,983 from 969 donors. All donations supported the Auburn University Campus Food Pantry. The university earned 72,849 points when including physical item donations.
