Article body

ChatGPT and other AI tools are forcing educators to rethink assignments, activities, courses and questions.

The Biggio Center has created a course to support faculty in this work by:

  • Introducing the terms and tools related to AI and machine learning

  • Providing opportunities to see them in action and try them yourselves

  • Engaging in conversations with colleagues at Auburn about how you plan to address the ethical and technical issues of the "AI disruption" in your course.

  • Seeing how students are using these tools

  • Considering opportunities to partner with your students and colleagues

The course contains eight modules that invite participants to explore, play and articulate experiences with artificial intelligence. Experts and beginners with artificial intelligence alike will find the course relevant and beneficial in elevating the conversation about the use of A.I. in education. Participants are provided with the optional opportunity to earn two different badges: AUAI Explorer and AUAI Experimenter.

Auburn University faculty and staff are invited visit the Biggio Center website for more information and to sign up for the free course.
