Cary Center, Central Alabama Community Foundation to provide training for Selma area nonprofits

The Auburn University College of Human Sciences’ Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is partnering with Wallace Community College Selma to present a day of training for nonprofits in Selma area.

The program, titled “Grow Your Nonprofit: Resources to Maximize Impact,” will take place on Wednesday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hank Sanders Technology Center (3000 Earl Goodwin Parkway) and will include sessions on building community partnerships, starting a nonprofit and grant writing. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required and is $10.

The Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is an academic center in Auburn University’s College of Human Sciences with a focus on financial wellness, philanthropy engagement and nonprofit studies.
