The Cary Center, Central Alabama Community Foundation providing training for Wiregrass area nonprofits

The Auburn University College of Human Sciences’ Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is partnering with the Central Alabama Community Foundation to present a day of training for nonprofits in Wiregrass area.

The program, titled “Grow Your Nonprofit: Resources to Maximize Impact,” will take place on Tuesday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wiregrass Foundation Community Room (1532 Whatley Drive) and will include sessions on budgeting for nonprofits, branding and marketing, fundraising and community partnerships. Registration is required and is $10. Lunch is provided.

• Budgeting for Nonprofits with Dana Hess--CPA and Financial Officer with Central Alabama Community Foundation

• Branding and Marketing with Melinda Sconyers McClendon--Branding and Marketing Expert

• Fundraising with Burton Crenshaw--President of the Central Alabama Community Foundation and Sid James-Executive Director of the Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies

• Community Partnerships with Hollie Cost, Jocelyn Vickers and Whitney Lee--Auburn University Outreach and Office of Public Service
