Auburn University and its Office of Inclusion and Diversity, or OID, are strongly committed to providing an environment free of all types of sexual violence. To recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month, or SAAM, this April, all students, faculty and staff are invited to attend and participate in events organized by the Auburn community to support survivors and learn about preventing sexual violence.

Auburn has resources available for anyone who has experienced dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking. Safe Harbor can connect survivors with supportive resources, both on and off campus. These may include medical services, counseling services, academic support and assistance navigating reporting options. Safe Harbor’s crisis phone number is 334-844-7233, and a full collection of resources can be found on its website.

To learn more about Auburn’s events and initiatives, as well as Auburn’s commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive campus community, please visit the Office of Inclusion and Diversity’s Instagram page and Auburn’s DEI landing page or sign up for the OID newsletter, set to return later this spring.
