On April 15, the Office of Outreach Global at Auburn University will host its second annual Global Community Day Festival from 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. at the Auburn Intramural Fields (530 Biggio Drive, Auburn, AL 36832).

The 2023 Global Community Day Festival will attract international and domestic communities from Auburn, Opelika and the surrounding areas to experience a day dedicated to cultural exchange and celebration. Activities throughout the day will include the Taste of the World food tasting, the Trade Fair, the Global Attire Showcase, musical performances, dance and karate demonstrations, arts and crafts, sports and games.

The Global Community Day Festival aims to promote cultural awareness, enhance diversity and encourage multicultural learning. The festival provides a space for community members, student clubs and organizations and governmental and trade groups to engage with one another and celebrate the diversity within our community.

Last year’s festival was a tremendous success, with more than 600 attendees and participants.

For more information about the festival, please visit the festival’s website or contact Olivia Houlden at oph0007@auburn.edu with any questions.
