Provost units hosting inaugural Elevated Education Exchange featuring keynote speakers Justin Hodgson and Laura Cruz

Provost units including Academic Support, the Biggio Center, Academic Insight and University Writing, will host a day-long conference to share teaching strategies to improve student success. The Elevated Education Exchange will offer an opportunity for campus community members to showcase innovative teaching techniques, new technologies, continuous assessment and improvement approaches.

8:30 a.m.: Coffee (AUDCC)

9–9:50 a.m.: Keynote Speaker Justin Hodgson (AUDCC)

10–10:50 a.m.: Faculty Presentations (AUDCC)

11 a.m.–12 p.m.: Lunch with Keynote Speaker Laura Cruz (AUDCC)

The first half of the event takes place at the Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center and features keynote speakers Justin Hodgson, an award-winning educator and digital transformation leader at Indiana University, and Laura Cruz, a research professor of Teaching and Learning Scholarship with the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence at Penn State. Additionally, a panel of Auburn faculty will showcase innovative approaches to building and enhancing student success.

1:30 p.m.: A poster session will be held at the Academic Classroom and Laboratory Complex, or ACLC, featuring individual and team stories of student success through teaching, engagement and articulation.
