Application deadline extended for Course (Re)Design

Summer Course (Re)Design, or CRD, is the Biggio Center’s flagship program aimed to help faculty from all disciplines create or re-envision one course in preparation for teaching in an active learning space. The program is structured around Dee Fink’s Designing Significant Learning Experiences backward design process.
Faculty will participate in the design of an existing course using backwards design principles and prepare to use active learning in engaged and active student learning, or EASL, environments. This workshop highlights opportunities to support inclusion, diversity and equity in teaching practices through various teaching modalities and assessments.
Face-to-face session: Monday, May 15–Friday, May 19
Online session: Monday, June 26–Friday, June 30
