Biological sciences students, faculty complete study abroad spring break trip in Costa Rica

Four faculty members and 18 students from the Department of Biological Sciences traveled to Costa Rica on a study abroad trip for spring break. On the trip titled "Biodiversity, Conservation and Sustainability: Costa Rica," students collected data for short-term research and analysis to be presented at the end of the semester.  

“We ran this program last year and it was quite successful, and it was this year as well. Moving forward, we’d like to do this every year to give our students the opportunity to experience tropical biology in a safe and stable country just a four-hour flight away from Atlanta,” said faculty member Dan Warner.
