Biggio Center hosting AI expert for talk, 'The Rise of AI & Reframing the Academic Integrity Problem'

The Biggio Center invites the campus community to a talk by Gonzalo Tudela, a thought-leader and serial tech founder, recognized for his expertise in business and technology, to discuss, “The Rise of AI and Reframing the Academic Integrity Problem.”

Tudela’s unique insights and innovative ideas have been featured in numerous high-profile media outlets, including The Globe and Mail, Entrepreneur Magazine, TechCrunch and CBC. Tudela also is a TEDx speaker who regularly presents to business leaders across the world.

As a firm believer in taking a first-principles approach to solving tough challenges, Tudela is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible and driving innovation forward. He has a deep understanding of how emerging technologies like AI and machine learning will shape the future of business and is an early champion of the positive impact these technologies will have in higher education. Tudela's current focus and dedication is on the emerging problem of academic integrity in a post-AI world.

The event will be on April 5 from 1:30-3 p.m. in ACLC 270 and over Zoom. Register on the Biggio Center website.

This talk is a part of the Office of the Provost supported speaker series and resources to engage Auburn University faculty and staff in productive conversations about the implications of artificial intelligence in education. Faculty and staff are invited to sign up for the Teaching with AI at AU asynchronous, online Canvas course.
