The Cary Center, Community Foundation of East Alabama to provide training for area nonprofits

The Auburn University College of Human Sciences’ Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is partnering with the Community Foundation of East Alabama to present a day of training for nonprofits in East Alabama. The program, titled “Grow Your Nonprofit: Resources to Maximize Impact,” will take place on Wednesday, April 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the CASIC Building at Auburn University (559 Devall Drive) and will include sessions on building relationships, perfecting your elevator speech, how to make the ask and a practice session on making the ask followed by a networking luncheon. Lunch is provided. Registration is required and is $10.

The Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is an academic center in Auburn University’s College of Human Sciences with a focus on financial wellness, philanthropy engagement and nonprofit studies.
