Campus to receive new music recording studio, featured by Yamaha

A new 4,000-square-foot music recording studio is under construction on Auburn University's campus. The studio is part of Auburn's interdisciplinary approach to music education that began launching in 2019 with a new music composition and technology degree and followed by a new commercial music degree in 2020.
The Auburn music program and new facility caught the attention of music industry giant Yamaha, which published a feature article about the studio last week. The article highlights Percussion Professor and Coordinator of Commercial Music Studies Doug Rosener and Director of Bands Richard Good.
