The Auburn University Psychological Services Center, or AUPSC, and Student Counseling and Psychological Services, or SCPS, will be co-hosting National Alcohol Screening Day, or NASD, on Thursday, April 6, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Cary Hall. This is an opportunity for free, brief and confidential screenings for alcohol use and other related issues and is open to all students. Individuals coming to the AUPSC for NASD will fill out a brief questionnaire and receive feedback from a graduate clinician.

Information about the signs and symptoms of problematic alcohol use and a list of resources for seeking help will also be available. We will be offering research credit (.5) to any undergraduate student in a psychology course who comes in and completes the screening. Individuals do not need to be associated with a psychology course to attend. All students are welcome.

For more information on NASD, please contact AUPSC by email at aupsc@auburn.edu or call (334) 844-4889.
