Auburn University’s VEFC is a funded certificate program by the Rehabilitation Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Education. VEFC is excited to offer this training certificate both to students and professionals interested in furthering their education and professional development in the fields of vocational and forensic rehabilitation.

The main objective of the VEFC program is focused on employment. Our goal is an increased number of professionals that will be trained in evidence-based practices and updated vocational evaluation and forensic techniques. Additionally, we hope that by implementing these skills, individuals with disabilities will find greater and more positive employment outcomes.

In short, the VEFC is a one-year, six-course training certificate that can be completed in person or via distance education. Students and professionals with a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree are eligible to apply. 15 scholarships are available each academic year, and applications are due May 1.
