For the first time in history, the Auburn University National Pan-Hellenic Council, or NPHC, has been named the Lamar Bryant National Pan-Hellenic Council of the Year Award. This award is given out each year by the Southeastern Greek Leadership Association to the NPHC council which displays excellence in leadership, philanthropy, community service and academic achievement. Councils are required to provide information on three primary categories: Council Impact, Operational Excellence and Community Cultivation.

“It is an honor to be a part of a council that is being recognized for its efforts on campus and in the community,” said NPHC President Zoey Cunningham. “These awards exemplify the hard work of our council and our efforts to sustain a community of Black excellence.”

Auburn NPHC was also awarded the Council Impact Award, Operational Excellence Award, Strategic Branding Award, Cross-Council Collaboration Award, Social and Cultural Awareness Award, and Campus and Community Relations Award.
