Counseling appointments, emergency services available to all students through Student Counseling & Psychological Services

If you are facing mental health challenges, you are not alone. Student Counseling & Psychological Services, or SCPS, is here to help. With services that include group therapy and individual counseling, SCPS will make sure you receive the help you need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

If you or someone you know is experiencing an urgent crisis, SCPS emergency services are always available. During regular business hours, call 334-844-5123 or visit the SCPS office on the second floor of the AU Medical Clinic, 400 Lem Morrison Drive, or the Haley Center location in Room 0326. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health-related crisis or emergency after regular business hours, during weekends or holidays, call SCPS at 334-844-5123 to speak to an after-hours counselor.
