Auburn Panhellenic Council, the governing body of the 18 National Panhellenic Conference sororities on Auburn’s campus, visited the Southeastern Greek Leadership Conference held Feb. 9–11 in Atlanta. Panhellenic received two awards and multiple certificates celebrating the community’s accomplishments.

Auburn Panhellenic was awarded the Council Impact and Operational Excellence awards, which compile three subcategories each. The Council Impact award comprises social and cultural awareness, civic and philanthropic engagement, and campus and community relations subcategories. The Operational Excellence award comprises health, safety, and accountability, cross-council collaboration, and strategic branding subcategories. Recently, the Council was also awarded the Phi Mu Academic Excellence Grant through the NPC Foundation for increased academic programming support.

“It is such an honor to receive these awards on behalf of the Panhellenic community,” said Auburn Panhellenic President Amanda Barkley. “The award recognition is evidence of the continuous hard work that the Panhellenic Council and the past and current officers continue to carry out for the betterment of the campus and community."
