Harrell to present on inclusion strategies in upcoming EagleCast Webinar Series

Registration is now open for the next installment of EagleCast, the monthly webinar series hosted by the Office of Professional and Continuing Education. Joan Harrell, journalism lecturer and diversity officer for Auburn University College of Liberal Arts and an award-winning journalist and founder and moderator of the Auburn University Becoming the Beloved Community digital humanities project, will provide organizational strategies to help participants achieve an inclusive climate for their business and personal professional development.

Harrell's presentation adapts practices from the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to offer organizational strategies to ensure welcoming, lived experiences and authentic conversations. The webinar takes place Feb. 28 through Zoom and is followed by a question-and-answer session.

The EagleCast Webinar Series features experts from a variety of sectors including education, business, industry, public service, health and finance. The ongoing series presents information and skills essential for navigating today’s ever-changing world.
