Auburn Panhellenic Council, the governing body of the 18 National Panhellenic Conference sororities of Auburn University, recently interviewed and selected a new group of recruitment counselors.

This group of 135 sorority members, known as Pi Chis, will serve as a guide to a small group of potential new members and help facilitate a positive recruitment experience. Each Pi Chi is a sorority member who will disaffiliate herself from her sorority starting at the end of the spring semester and participate in trainings each week to prepare for recruitment.

“Pi Chis are crucial to the recruitment experience in cultivating a welcoming presence as potential new members begin their first week on campus. Each Pi Chi creates a space for prospective members to thrive during their recruitment process. Recruitment could not be successful without these key individuals, and I am so excited about this new group,” said Tootie Lattier, Auburn Panhellenic Coordinator.

Auburn Panhellenic fall 2023 recruitment begins on Aug. 6, and registration opens on June 1.
