Auburn University’s Vocational Evaluation Forensic Certificate, or VEFC, is a funded certificate program by the Rehabilitation Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Education. The training certificate is offered to both students and professionals interested in furthering their education and professional development in the fields of vocational and forensic rehabilitation.

The main objective of the VEFC program is to create an increased number of professionals who will be trained in evidence-based practices and updated vocational evaluation and forensic techniques, and by implementing these skills, individuals with disabilities will find greater and more positive employment outcomes.

In short, the VEFC is a one-year, six-course training certificate that can be completed in person or via distance education. Students and professionals with a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree are eligible to apply. Fifteen scholarships are available each academic year, and applications are due March 13.

Please join us for the VEFC Spring Virtual Open House on Feb. 16, from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
