STEM Outreach Center hosting first Science Pub of the semester

COSAM's STEM Outreach Center is kicking off the semester with a fun Science Pub at John Emerald Distilling Co. in Opelika. Science Pub is a fun, casual evening for the whole family to join in a discussion with a local scientist.

Did you know the oldest rocks on Earth are not from Earth? Come hear about our solar system’s rocks and how geologists solved one of Earth’s oldest secrets. John Emerald Distilling Co. will be hosting our first Science Pub of the Spring semester on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 6:30 p.m. Willis ‘Bill’ Hames from Auburn's Department of Geosciences will tell us about his lab's work on various rocks to learn more about Earth and our solar system neighbors.
