Beginning Feb. 6, Auburn will again participate in the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education, or COACHE, faculty job satisfaction survey. Based at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Auburn is among more than 200 institutions that have partnered with COACHE to provide critical data that has evaluated the faculty experience and informed institutional policies and decisions.

All faculty responses are confidential, reported in aggregate and individually redacted for identifying information by COACHE staff. Survey questions are grouped into several themes, including the nature of the teaching, research and service aspects of faculty work; institutional governance and promotion processes; satisfaction with personal and family supports; levels of climate and collegiality; and other aspects of faculty work-life.

Eligible faculty are asked to support our institution by completing the survey and will receive an email invitation from COACHE. For more information, visit the COACHE information site and for summaries of previous COACHE results. For questions, contact Claire Heacox, Manager of Information and Analytics in the Office of Institutional Research, at heacox@auburn.edu.
