Harbert College of Business to host memorial reception for Lowder Eminent Scholar in Finance Jim Barth

The Harbert College of Business will host a memorial reception on Wednesday, Feb. 1, to honor the life and contributions of Jim Barth, Lowder Eminent Scholar in Finance.

Barth, prolific researcher, renowned scholar and beloved teacher and mentor to thousands of undergraduate and graduate students at Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business for 33 years, died at the age of 79.

The memorial in his honor will be held Feb. 1 at 4 p.m. in the BEST Room in Horton-Hardgrave Hall.
