Cary Center, Community Foundation of East Alabama to provide training for area nonprofits

The Auburn University College of Human Sciences’ Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is partnering with the Community Foundation of East Alabama to present a day of training for nonprofits in East Alabama.

The program, titled "Grow Your Nonprofit: Resources to Maximize Impact," will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CST at the Opelika Public Library located at 1100 Glenn St. and will include sessions on starting a nonprofit, nonprofit accounting basics and strategic planning followed by a networking luncheon.

The Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is an academic center in Auburn University’s College of Human Sciences with a focus on financial wellness, philanthropy engagement and nonprofit studies.
