The Alabama Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education, or AHMRE, project is currently registering couples for classes beginning the week of Feb. 6. Classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. virtually on Tuesdays or Thursdays and in person on Wednesdays in the Research Park near Auburn University’s campus. You and your partner are able to decide which day works best for you. Regardless of the day you choose, you will be randomly assigned as a couple to attend classes once a week for 6 weeks or once a month for 6 months.

The free classes present ELEVATE, an evidence-based relationship education program that teaches couples how to take their relationships to the next level by focusing on core relationship skills. Meals as well as childcare and transportation supports are offered for each session.

All registered individuals have the opportunity to earn up to $160 for completing 4 surveys over 1 year ($320 per couple). You’ll also be eligible for a program completion payment of $30 per person ($60 per couple) if you complete all sessions.

Start registration online or contact AHMRE at marrfam@auburn.edu or 334.844.8715 for more information.
