The Student Philanthropy Board, a mentoring initiative of the Women's Philanthropy Board, will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children ages 2-8 for the Auburn Toy Drive that is organized by Auburn Public Safety. This campaign is designed to assist families in the Auburn community by providing Christmas gifts to children in need.

During this holiday season, please remember those who may be less fortunate. All donations are extremely important. No monetary donations may be accepted; however, any purchased gift is appreciated.

Anyone who would like to participate can drop off their new, unwrapped toy in Spidle Hall or the Cary Center (360 North College Street) until Nov. 25. For questions or additional information, contact Brittany Spillman: spillbl@auburn.edu or 334-844-3557.

The Student Philanthropy Board provides avenues for students to explore philanthropic engagement, nonprofit leadership, financial sustainability, community involvement and professional development in order to develop knowledge and skills for future service as nonprofit professionals or long-term volunteers. The mission of Student Philanthropy Board is to assist students to develop their full leadership potential, participate in the philanthropic cycle, discover the roles of nonprofits and their impact in communities, and network with nonprofit and philanthropic leaders.
