Are you an Auburn University faculty or staff member planning to travel outside of the 50 United States on Auburn business? If so, you are required to submit a RAT50 form at least 30 days prior to departure. Not sure what a RAT50 form is, or have questions about the process? Join Auburn Abroad for a RAT50 Q&A Session on Nov. 17 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in ACLC, room 202.

The session will cover what a RAT50 is, why it is necessary, who approves a RAT50, and how you provide a RAT50 to PBS for travel reimbursement. Plus, there will be time allotted at the end for questions.

Prior to attending the session, please review the information found in this Auburn news release.

International travel is a key aspect of developing faculty at Auburn and equipping them to internationalize their courses and research. Auburn Abroad, in the Office of International Programs, is offering this opportunity to clarify lingering questions and ensure a seamless and safe travel process.

For questions related to the RAT50 process, please email RAT50@auburn.edu.
