Graduate Student Council hosting toy drive through Dec. 9

This holiday season, the Graduate Student Council, or GSC, is hosting a toy drive for graduate student families with children in need.

Through an Amazon gift registry, those who wish to donate to graduate student families in need can use the QR code in the attached graphic to purchase and donate a toy. Participation is completely voluntary, and anyone in the university community may purchase and donate a toy if they feel so moved. All purchases must be completed by Dec. 9 to allow for shipping times.

How it works:

The Amazon purchases/donations will be shipped to the GSC at the hidden address listed for the Amazon gift registry. Once all the items have been collected, eligible graduate students with small children, as identified through the childcare stipend initiative in July, will be invited via email to come select a donated toy item for their child(ren) at Hargis Hall during the week of Dec. 12-16. Eligibility will be based on information submitted through the child care stipend application and available toys donated through this toy drive.
