Auburn to host national 'Allies for Inclusion: The Ability Exhibit' Dec. 1-2

All members of the campus community are invited to attend The Ability Exhibit on Thursday, Dec. 1, and Friday, Dec. 2, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. in the Forestry, Wildlife and Environment Building, Room 1101. Sponsored by the Offices of Accessibility and Inclusion and Diversity, or OID, the two-day, interactive exhibit focuses on awareness and inclusion issues for of people with disabilities and promotes disability identity and universal design.

As part of the exhibition, OID will be hosting a free Lunch & Learn on Thursday, Dec. 1, from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at the Melton Student Center, Room 2222-2223 in honor of International Persons with Disabilities Day. The event will include a presentation on Universal Design in Higher Education led by Ability Exhibit Director Mark Pousson. 

Attendees must register for the lunch at aub.ie/OIDLunchLearnRSVP. Those planning to attend the Lunch & Learn, are asked to kindly consider bringing pasta, rice or hygiene products to be donated to the Auburn University Food Pantry for the holiday season.
