On Nov. 18, the students, faculty and staff can stop by the Sciences Center Laboratory, or SLC, building, Room 310 and find out their blood type and what blood types they are compatible with from noon to 3 p.m.

“Students, faculty and staff are welcomed to stop by the third floor of SCL and find out their blood type in just minutes,” said Brittni Sloan, director of Clinical Lab Sciences. “It is a great opportunity to help students get hands-on experience and an important health factor that everyone should know about themselves.”

The eight main blood types are:

O positive, O negative, A positive, A negative, B positive, B negative, AB positive and AB negative

This event is hosted by Lambda Tau and the Medical Laboratory Sciences and Laboratory Sciences.
