College of Education’s EAGLES get special visit from Auburn men’s basketball team

The College of Education’s EAGLES—students with intellectual disabilities—had a blast during a recent visit from the Auburn men’s basketball team and Coach Bruce Pearl.

The team spent some quality time on the court with the EAGLES at the Auburn University Recreation and Wellness Center on campus, helping the students go through basketball drills and shoot some hoops. Both groups thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which illustrated how close all members of the Auburn Family truly are.

Auburn’s men’s basketball team begins its 2022-23 season against George Mason at Neville Arena on Monday, Nov. 7.

Auburn's EAGLES, students with intellectual disabilities, recently spent some time on the court with the nationally ranked men's basketball team. All students and coaches had a great time during the session, which included basketball drills, shooting instruction and fun.
