Bitcoin entrepreneur Edan Yago to speak on Bitcoin and the End of the State and Career Opportunities in Bitcoin and Crypto Technology

Edan Yago, an entrepreneur and advocate for digital property rights, will speak on "Bitcoin and the End of the State: How Technologists Are Changing the Nature of Governance." The talk will be held in Broun Auditorium (Broun 238) at 3 p.m. on Nov. 2. A Q&A session will be held after the presentation. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend. Later in the day, Yago will speak to students about "Career Opportunities in Bitcoin and Crypto Technology." This talk will be held at 5:30 p.m. in 110 Lowder. Students interested in any aspect of Bitcoin or the growing crypto space are encouraged to attend. A Q&A time will follow the presentation. Yago is one of the leading contributors at Sovryn, a decentralized Bitcoin financial platform that aims to be the premier financial operating system secured by Bitcoin. The talks are co-sponsored by several student organizations, including: Tau Beta Pi Honor Societies, the Association for Information Systems, Auburn Robotics Club and the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers.
