Auburn soil judging team wins at regional competition

The Auburn University team won the annual Southeastern Region Collegiate Soil Judging Contest hosted by Clemson University from Oct. 17-Oct. 20. Dustin Randolph from Auburn was the top individual in the contest, number 1 overall.

Other top finishers from Auburn included Jack Walley, LeAnne Pace, Ben McQuestion, Alexa Kloske and Skyler Sanders. The top six teams (out of 12) included: 1- Auburn University, 2- Va Tech, 3- University of Georgia, 4- University of Tennessee, 5- Western Kentucky University, 6- North Carolina State University.

The team now qualifies for the National Contest hosted by Oklahoma State University in April 2023.
