French Professor publishes edited volume on francophone Caribbean author Suzanne Césaire

Evelyne M. Bornier's latest book, "Autour de Suzanne Césaire, manifestes cannibales ou comment repenser les Antilles avec sa plume", was released on Oct. 10 by Editions Passage(s) in Caen, France.

Motivated by the lack of scholarship on francophone Caribbean author Suzanne Césaire, Bornier conceptualized the idea of an edited volume and sought out contributors in the field at the international level. Bornier wrote the introduction to the volume and one chapter (« Suzanne Césaire, ou le feu de l’écriture. ») She is a Professor of French in the Department of World Languages, Literatures & Cultures.
